Heavy Duty - Oil Coolers

HD oil coolers can be found in a variety of manufacturing processes

1) Electrical transformer stations
2) Mining equipment
3) Presses
4) Injection mold machines
5) Air compressors
6) Transmissions

Types of Heavy Duty Oil Coolers

  1. Finned-tube heat exchangers: are air cooled and utilized in a variety applications in the radiator industry including stationary generator units, refrigeration units in the food industry and industrial machine cooling
  2. Shell & tube/shell & bundle: are used in chiller units, engine intercoolers and aftercoolers,
water coolers for large power generation sets, stationary compressors & chemical processing plants
  3. Mesabi oil coolers: are used in hydraulic systems & air compressors
  4. Engine oil coolers: recommended for vehicles used for towing and/or severe service
  5. Marine oil cooling systems: encompass a closed circuit pressure system to provide protection from corrosion, quicker warm up times, and decreased engine parts wear and tear.
  6. Heat and hydraulic oil: used in hydraulic equipment that operates at a temperature above the regular equipment design
  7. Transmission coolers: prevent engines from overheating and improve transmission performance and operation. Increases longevity and durability of transmission.
  8. Plate-heat exchangers: are used for cooling oil by water circulation heat transfer
